Happy Chinese Valentine's Day.
Yeah. The first day of Chinese New Year falls on valentines' day. Cool right? Another cool thing, Jacq's birthday iis on valentines' day, which means, this year, her relatives have to give her more ang bao. Her mother very smart.
3 things i am gonna talk about today.
1. Bai Nian at my relatives hse.
2. Class Outing.
3. Me slacking at home during the 2 extra days of holiday.=D
Yeah, i suck at chronological order. Class outing should be first, budden, i would like to blog about the bai nian event first.
Firstly, i went to my mum's aunt's house.(it gets complicated along the way, pay close attention) Played taidi with my siblings in the car. Had to use all parts of my body to 'fen'( give out) the cards, cause no table, i happen to be the youngest, so must sit center even though i am damm big size. Wanted to play bridge de, budden sister dunno. addicted to bridge liao. =D
We reached my mum's aunt's hse at abt 10. Every year, people are getting later and later.Alvin,Eric, Daniel arrived at 11.Wanted to bridge with them de.Then they come so late. -.-
Anyway, as ang baos came into my pocket, i overheard a shocking news. My cousin gave birth that morning at abt 8am. TIgress.( not saying my cousin fierce, but saying my my new born niece' zodiac, -.-) And it happen to be valentine's day. Cool huh, another one.Oh, just found out her name today. Merinda.Cool.But not as cool as my future daughter's name.=D
Oh, back to the events at there. Ate Kiam chai ark(salted duck soup) and popiah.AND THE CHILLI IS SUPER DUPER SUPER DUPER HOT.jim po chilli. KENA OWNED BY IT.CRAP.
at first, i called alvin, to help me bao(make). Cause i was a noob at baoing popiah. my popiah always ends up like a ball. Graciously, he helped me. Before he baoed finish, i kehkhiang( act smart), i added a spoonful of jim po chilli.Act man. Then when i eat it, i was wondering,'eh, how come so hot,' and i continue eating cause i rmbed that i placed the chilli at the center, havent reach the chilli point yet. THEN,MY POPIAH EXPLODED.it was the usual case for me, cause my popiah always explode, dunno why. But as it explode, i cant bring myself to eat it already, even though i havent really reach the mid way of the popiah(chilli part)
'ALVIN, HOW COME SO HOT??'
'orh, cause i spreaded chilli, then you add some more chilli.'
CRAPSHIT. Made myself drunk with cola,in order to extinguish the fire. Bad experience with jim po chilli.
And then after makaning, we bridge-ed. SUPER FUN. I REALLY LOVE BRIDGE.<33333.
Spent this year valentine's day wisely =d, anyway, Alvin taught us a game. Called 99.it was okay, but bridge is way way better. =D And after 4 rounds of bridge(w/o betting), i had to leave for my dad's side.
So, we went happily to Big uncle hse(my dad's biggest brother).Were one of the earliest again. Elvin korkor and his wife, Catherine, they were back to celebrate CNY with us. And they brought alaska crab with them. =D
AND TO MY AMAZEMENT, THEY ALSO PLAY BRIDGE. COOL RIGHT? THEN ME, MY BRO,MY SIS, AND THEM PLAYED TGT, AFTER TEACHING MY SIS. Cool. And they were lovely,dovey during the game.-.-. IN FRONT OF KIDS.
We makaned there,(eat lunch twice) and bridge-ed for some time before more and more people came to flood the hse. Forgot to bring a bag, had to stuff into my pocket. Until my pocket is so full, like i got big Thighs liddat. So yeah.
We left the hse at around 5. Okay here comes the confusing part. i went to my mum's sister-in-law's mother house. Super cool eh? Went there to grab extra ang bao as well as to visit her.Sad thing is, she's getting senile.Cant remember my mother, but remember my brother, cause she really hen teng him, when he was small. Stayed at the hse for 1 hour. No bridge this time, talked crap with my mother's uncle.The chef.
talked abt alaska crab we ate earlier.
Went to mac to buy our dinner. Beef prosperity sucks. dun buy. okay, need to help 152 to tag le. tmr then continue.
